Mr. Vladimir Đelić is a legal expert with 15 years of practice. He specializes in Commercial law, Company Law and Joint venture formation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Privatization, Structured finance deals (former Yugoslavia and cross border), Commercial litigation and other trading related matters. Also has substantial experience in Marine, Non Marine and Construction insurance, Claims negotiation, Insurance-related litigation and arbitration, Shipping Law - charter party disputes and cargo claims.
From the beginning of privatization process in FRY he has took active part in consulting both the Agency for Privatization of the Republic of Serbia and potential buyers.
He is also legal advisor to a number of international companies in Serbia (FR Yugoslavia) and also number of domestic construction and engineering, advertising and IT companies.
Privatization and restructuring experience:
During the last five years, Mr. Vladimir Đelić advised the Privatization Agency of Serbia in auction sales of more than 20 (twenty) socially owned companies, and in number of tender sales of socially owned companies. This includes six road construction companies across Serbia, three transportation companies, etc.
As legal advisor for the buyers he represented buyers in more than fifteen tender sales of socially or state owned companies. Some of them include advising client in tender purchase of Wine Producing company, Bread and pastry producer, Agriculture company, Construction material company, Wood processing company, Dairy production company and many more.
As legal advisor for the Privatization Agency Mr. Đelić advised in restructuring of two major Textile production companies in Serbia.
Mergers and Acquisitions:
Mr. Đelić advised a number of clients in their M & A operations in the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Montenegro including: advising client in acquisition of majority stake in a Bank, advising client in acquisition of a Railway construction company, advising client in acquisition of Hotel, etc.ia.
Trade finance deals:
Advised international clients in various deals in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Serbia during the period of economic sanctions against FRY and RS. Some of the deals include imports of crude oil and kerosene into FRY, joint venture formation, structured finance deals (debt repayment), etc.
