Mr. Đorđe Božović is a legal expert with 40 years of experience and practice. He specialises in Criminal Law, General Litigation, Commercial law, Corporate governance issues, Labour Law, Conveynacing, Administrative Law and Privatisation.
Between 1965 and 1972 Mr. Božović was Judge in First Court of Justice in Belgrade, and from 1972 to 1976 High Court of Justice Judge in Belgrade, were he handled General Litigation and Criminal Law cases. During his practice as Judge he was a member of Special council in charge of fraudulent practice in economy.
Mr. Božović is legal adviser to a number of leading domestic companies which main activities are: constructing and construction consulting, computer production and marketing, sports activities and publishing.
During his practice as a lawyer he represented a number of clients in general litigations, commercial disputes and criminal cases before the Civil Courts, Commercial Court and Arbitration, in Republic of Serbia, as well as in FRY.
When the privatization process began in Republic of Serbia, Mr. Božović takes active part in consulting both, the Agency for Privatization and potential buyers. During the last five years, he advised AP in auction and tender sales of more than 20 (twenty) socially owned companies, and represented buyers in more than ten tender sales of socially or state owned companies in fallowing industry and companies: winery, bakery, textile, dairy products, wood processing industry, road construction companies, transportation companies and many more.
